| Bump at 21 weeks |
How far along? 21 weeks and 2 days.
Maternity clothes: Still haven’t bought any. It is getting more difficult to find pregnancy appropriate attire in my existing wardrobe.
My mum on the other hand has been buying me all sorts of bits and pieces for our holiday in June. I have two maternity tankini’s, shorts, capri pants, a few tops so far. She has stowed them all away in a drawer at her house.
Stretch marks: No, still hoping I’ll escape them.
Sleep: I haven’t slept very well at all this week. The worst was on Saturday night. I woke up at 4.30am and couldn’t get back to sleep. For the girl that used to get grouchy if she didn’t get her full 10 hours sleep I think I am functioning rather well considering!
Best moment this week: Scan was abit of a nightmare, separate post here but it was nice to have another look at the baby.
Miss anything? Still Pate but only that so it’s not too bad.
Movement: I have again felt a few flutters. Not as many as last week but still there every now and then. Maybe its just that i’m getting used to them.
Anything making you queasy orsick? No. Although I was cleaning my teeth the other day when mid brush I was hit with a wretching session that lasted about 10 minutes. It came out of nowhere. I wasn’t actually sick as I hadn’t eaten anything but the wretching lasted for a good while. It was very odd!
Gender: It kind of was confirmed. They have told us twice now that we are expecting a girl, although the 2nd time they didn’t seem that confident. We are going back again on Thursday so if they confirm it’s a girl again I think we are good to go and buy a few bits. Yey!
Labour signs: No.
Symptoms: Again I have a sore back. I was planting more seeds at the weekend though so I think that is why. Hopefully by the end of the week it will pass like last week.
Belly button in or out? In, just!
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy about the pregnancy.
Looking forward to: The scan on Thursday, hopefully we will get some pictures this time and the Easter weekend of course!
