Bump at 26 weeks |
Maternity clothes: Yes! I have ventured into the world of maternity
clothes. I bought a few tops and a pair of denim shorts from Asos over the
weekend. The maternity shorts are the comfiest things ever!! My mum ordered me
some maternity leggings too, these were also from Asos. I was reluctant to buy
maternity clothes but they are amazing. So comfy! They don’t dig in and most
importantly they look so much better!
Obviously you have to be selective about
what you buy. There is a lot of frumpy stuff out there that will make you look
like an old granny! But if you are reluctant to take the plunge into maternity
wear I would say go for it. I really shouldn’t have waited so long to buy
maternity clothes. They are brilliant! I feel liberated.
Stretch marks: No stretch marks.
Sleep: Sleeping ok. Baby seems to be waking up at around
3.30am every night. She is wriggling around so much that she wakes me up. I lay
awake till about 4.30am but I normally manage to get back to sleep by 5am once
she has settled down again. A taste of what’s to come I guess!
Best moment this week: We are going on holiday to cornwall this week on Thursday
afternoon. First bump holiday!
Miss anything? Not really.
Movement: Lots!
Anything making you queasy or
sick? No. Although at my scan
yesterday I had to stop the scan as I came over all queasy and thought I was
going to be sick. Thankfully I wasn’t, I sipped some water and the feeling went away.
Gender: Girl
Labour signs: No.
Symptoms: Lots of wriggles. If I don’t concentrate I start to
waddle like a pregnant lady! I try to correct this by leaning back, lol.
Belly button in or out? OUT! Definitely out. It’s the weirdest thing! I
read on one of my apps that if you don’t like it you should but a plaster over
it. I am not the worlds greatest fan of the outtie but I wouldn’t go to the
extreme of taping it up.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Ok.
Looking forward to: Holiday J
