I have put together an Easter Basket for Rosalie as I do every year. I can’t believe that this time next year I’ll be making one for two little girlies.
I have been collecting bits and pieces for weeks and I didn’t realise quite how much stuff I had until I got it all out to put together. There was so much stuff the only basket I could fit it all in was a washing basket!
Book
I picked up this book about the littlest bunny in pound land. It is a lovely story and perfect for this time of year.
Easter Mask set
The mask set came in a pack of three with a bunny, lamb and chick design. I thought that Rosalie would enjoy playing with these is the run up to Easter. She can also wear them when we do our Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday.
Peter Rabbit Easter Sticker Book
This Peter Rabbit Sticker book is from Aldi and was 89p. Rosalie has really got into Peter Rabbit at lately and I thought this is something we could play with during the Easter Holidays.
Easter Activity Pack
The Easter Activity Pack comes with a colouring book and two activity books as well as a pack of pencils. I picked this up in pound land so it was £1.00.
Kinder Surprise Easter Egg
When I heard that Kinder were doing Easter Eggs I knew I had to get one! Rosalie loves kinder eggs and any kind of surprise in fact. She will be so excited when she realises there is a toy inside that big egg!
It’s a bit of a shame that it shows what is inside on the outside of the box. I’m quite tempted to take it out of the box so she can’t see. This egg was from Tescos and I bought it a while ago as I heard they were likely to sell out. From memory I think they were £4.99.
Shopkins Easter gift set
I saw this in B and M and had to get it. As I said Rosalie loves surprises and this also means she loves Shopkins. We received a Peppa pig gift set like this last Easter and it’s so useful. You can never have too many cups and bowls. Especially as we will have another little girl joining us soon. This was £2.99.
Beauty and the Beast Cutlery Set
I saw this yesterday in Aldi for only £7.99. I thought this was such good value for all that you get in the set. I couldn’t resist it! I probably wouldn’t have got the Shopkins Easter set if I had seen this first. I had already bought that so now Rosalie has both.
The main reason I got this is that the plate is a really good size and we will be able to use it as Rosalie’s new dinner plate. We have been using a christmas plate for about a year and a half as it’s the only large plastic plate we have!
Egg Character craft set
This craft set is from Pound land and its another activity I thought that Rosalie and I can do together over the Easter Holidays. Rosalie loves to craft and she often asks to do it.
Happy Easter Pop Stick Creations
Again, I picked up this craft set in Pound land. This is a pop stick creation set and I thought that we could use the little decorations in Rosalie’s fairy garden when Easter is over. This was £1.oo.
Easter Bubbles
I saw these bubbles in Matalan ages ago. They were actually the first item I bought for Rosalie’s Easter Basket. They make giant bubbles so I know Rosalie will love this when she realises. The bubble wand was £2.00.
Easter Egg Bucket
This Easter Egg Bucket is for Rosalie to use to collect her Eggs on our Easter Egg Hunt in the garden. It was 89p from Aldi.
Pyjamas
I picked up this three pack of Bunny pyjamas from Next and they were £22.00. All Rosalie’s pyjamas were starting to look a little tatty so I will be throwing some away to make room for these new ones.
Little Bunny
This little bunny was from Pound land and is ever so soft! Rosalie will love cuddling up to it.
So that’s all the Easter goodies that are in Rosalie’s Easter basket this year. You can take a look at the Easter baskets I’ve made in previous years in my Easter Basket Ideas post and Rosalie’s Easter Basket post.
If you’d like a closer look at the items I have put in Rosalie’s Easter basket this year. There is a What’s in my Kids Easter Basket video over on my Youtube Channel.
Will you be making an Easter basket for your little one this year?
