Malaga was our 6th day in port on board our Mediterranean Cruise. You can take a look at my previous posts to see how we spent our other days on land.
Malaga was another place that were weren’t that enthused about visiting but actually we had a wonderful day. We did a little research prior to visiting and decided to head in to the direction of the newly refurbished marina called Muelle Uno.
We took Rosalie’s push chair and decided to walk to the Marina as the weather was lovely and we wanted to catch some sun. It probably took around 20 minutes to get to Muello Uno but we were walking at quite a fast pace.
Muelle Uno is a lovely little shopping area, with cute boutique shops and independent restaurants. We walked around and had a look in a few shops before stopping off for some delicious fruit and frozen yogurt from Llaollao.
We then strolled into the main town and took a city tour by horse and cart. Rosalie absolutely loved this! It was such a spare of the moment decision but I’m so pleased we did it. Rosalie kept saying ‘clip clop, clip clop’ and ‘neeeeeigh’ all the way round.
After our horsey ride we went in a few shops along the High street. They even had a Primark but I managed to resist going in there. We walked through the botanical gardens along to the beach so Rosalie could have a play in the beach parks. By this point we were starting to get a little hungry so walked back to Muelle Uno for something to eat and stopped off for some Tapas in a gorgeous water front restaurant.
After Lunch we took a leisurely walk back to our ship as Rosalie napped in her push chair. We had a great day exploring Malaga. Here are some photos of our adventures, mainly buildings and selfies!
