Cadiz was the town that we docked in but there was the option to travel on to Seville which was about 2 hours away. We chose not to do this and instead we had a relaxing day on the beach.
We took a local taxi to the beach as soon as we disembarked the ship. From memory this cost about 7 Euros.
I wasn’t sure what Rosalie would think of the beach as the last time we went to a beach she was only 9 months old and she pretty much slept the whole day in her pushchair.
I needn’t have worried. Rosalie absolutely loved it! She spent the day making sand castles with daddy, then knocking them all down, running around the shallow waters and chasing the waves. She even did some real swimming in the sea. Rosalie enjoyed it so much she didn’t want to come out!
It was a lovely chilled out day and was the perfect ending to a wonderful cruise holiday.
