I HAD planned to film this toddler room tour video months and months ago, but I then had the bright idea to get Rosalie a Teepee for Christmas. I decided to wait until the teepee had arrived and I had set it up in her room before filming the toddler room tour.
It seems like Rosalie’s toddler room has taken a long time to come together. A lot of the decorative items and knick-knacks I ordered from Ebay. They came from the far depths of Asia and took aaaaages to arrive. Some items took so long, I’m talking to you Mr Ice cream light, I’d forgotten I had ordered them!
Although I ordered a few things. I wanted her room to evolve naturally. I wanted it to look styled and put together but I didn’t want to have to buy things for the sake of it. Rather, I wanted Rosalie’s room to be filled with her things. Things that Rosalie has taken a liking to or has been gifted by a loved one. Things that mean something, that have been made b,y me, her Grandma or her Great Grandma, especially for her.
I wanted a space that not only looked beautiful, but that Rosalie would want to spend time in. I think we have got the balance just right. We spend a lot of time in here. Whenever we go up for a bum change there is a toy or book that catches Rosalie’s eye and we end up staying in there a little longer. To me that’s a sign that she loves it!
I think I am happy with it. That is until Christmas comes round and I have to find homes for all her new toys.
I hope you enjoy the video and photos!
