Right, now that’s taken care of let’s get down to business.
In 2 short weeks Mother’s Day will soon be upon us. If your anything like me you’ll bumble along from one celebrated holiday to the next. Only realising one is on the horizon when shops start putting out their displays. You’ll think to yourself ‘Ooo I’ll pick up a card next time I’m in town’. Alas, I never do and before I know it is the day before and I’m paying over the odds for a ratty bunch of flowers left behind by the more organised son’s and daughter’s of the world.
But not this year. This year I’m prepared.
Thanks to a little email in my inbox, ok so there was more than one email in my inbox telling me Mother’s Day was coming. Most of which were swiftly deleted without even reading, but this one caught my eye. I liked the idea and I think you will too.

Allow me to introduce to you ‘The Book of Mum’. A book all about the most important lady in your life.

All you have to do is head over to the book of everyone’s website. Enter your mama’s name and date of birth and the very clever people over there take care of the rest.

The book includes info on her star sign, the year she was born, other wonderful things that happened on the date she made her way into this world.
You can make it truly unique by changing the colour, adding photos and including personal messages that mean something to you and your mum.
The book is priced at £29.50 for the hardcover edition that I have. There is something for all budgets though. You can pick up a digital version for £7.50 or a softcover copy for £19.50. They even do a super duper deluxe edition for £49.50 if you’re feeling extra spendy.

I’m so pleased with this gift it’s something really different and one of a kind. I know my mum will be thrilled with it. She’ll love soaking up all the titbits about herself with a cup of tea in hand. After she’s done it will also make a rather attractive coffee table book to have out on display.
If you’d like to get one for your mama you can do so . There is free shipping to mainland UK.
It will be my first Mother’s Day as a Mum this year. A rather special occasion I think you’ll agree. Now I’ve taken care of my mum I’ve let my mind wander on to how I might be celebrated. I have high hopes.Daddy better get thinking that’s all I can say. Realistically, I suppose I should start hinting!
