Welcome to this week’s Grocery Haul and Meal Plan.
I had finally made enough space in our three freezer drawers so that we could go to the butchers to do a meat run. Every 6 – 8 weeks we go to the butchers and buy 5 kg of chicken breast, sausages, mince and a rib eye roll. We then portion it all up into bags and freeze it. As our frozen storage space is so limited we have to make sure we have eaten all of the meat from our previous trip before going again. This time it seems to have taken a while.
We now have steak again so that is back on the menu, yey!
We have one new recipe this week, Rachel’s Sausage and Bean stew, which I am really looking forward to trying. The others are all old favourites so they should go down well we both the toddler and husband. Rosalie loves anything she can put mayonnaise on these days!
Monday – Chicken Pasta
Tuesday – Sausage and Bean Stew
Wednesday – Nick’s mum’s
Thursday – Hunters Chicken and sweet potato chips
Friday – Steak and Chips
Saturday – Sweet and Sour Chicken
Sunday – Roast
YOU CAN FIND THIS WEEK’S GROCERY HAUL WITH ALL THE INGREDIENTS I’LL BE USING TO MAKE THESE MEALS BELOW.

15th March 2017 at 9:10 AMI have to manage it as we only have 3 freezer drawers. We are building a new garage soon and I am excited as we will be able to put a bigger freezer in there as well. If you use your freezer well I think it makes life so much easier xx
