I have put together a Valentines Day gift bag for Rosalie so I thought i’d share with you the things I bought to go in it. Last year I made Rosie a gift basket, I do this for every celebratory holiday and it’s something I really enjoy.
I hoped to buy most things from pound land but I didn’t find much on offer this year so I ordered a few bits from Amazon too. Rosalie hasn’t been too fussed about receiving her basket in previous years. She is 2 and a ½ now and I think this year she is really going to love it!
Chocolate Lolly
I picked up this chocolate lolly in Sainsbury’s. Rosalie loves a lollipop so I think she is going to be very pleased to receive this.
HEART SHAPED JELLY BEANS
I ordered these heart shaped jelly beans from Amazon and I have put together a little jar for Rosalie and Nick. I wrapped the jars in ribbon to make them a little more pretty.
BOOK
I was looking for a LOVE themed book in the shops but couldn’t find any. I found this ‘The Lion who wanted to Love’ book on Amazon and I thought it sounded perfect.
LOVE HEART PYJAMAS
I bought these heart pyjamas from Next. Rosalie is a big fan of pyjamas and these are perfect for valentines day.
RABBIT DOLL
I wanted to get Rosalie a toy to include in her gift basket and I fell in love with this bunny. She’ll also look great in Rosalie’s new bedroom. This doll was from the instagram shop Ava’s Dreams.
Heart shaped window stickers
I picked these up in pound land and I thought Rosalie would have some fun sticking them on our French windows. They will also help to decorate the place for valentines day.
Valentine’s crackers
I have absolutely no idea what are in these crackers but I thought they would be a fun thing for Rosalie to open. It’s basically an egg surprise without the egg! These were from pound land.
Heart Confetti
I’m not sure if I am crazy for buying these or not as they will most likely end up all over our floor. I thought that Rosalie could add these to her craft box and she can use them to decorate her valentines day cards. I found the confetti in pound land.
Heart shaped chocolates
I found these little cuties in pound land and thought they would be a lovely addition to Rosalie’s valentine’s day gift bag. Every girl needs chocolate on V-day.
You can take a closer look of the items I bought for Rosalie’s gift bag in my Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Kids video over on my youtube channel.
Will you be buying your child a valentines day gift this year?
