Nick’s birthday and the bank holiday weekend totally messed us up this week. We are trying to get back on track but in this awful weather all I want to do is curl up on the sofa with a cup of tea and an easter egg. We have more comfort food this week to ease us back in to healthy eating.
Our meal plan for this week is:::
Monday – Out for Dinner
Tuesday – Sausage and Mash
Wednesday – Nick’s Mum’s
Thursday – Nando’s Chicken Wraps
Friday – Spaghetti Bolognaise
Saturday – Fajitas
Sunday – Roast
You can take a look at our weekly food shop and all the ingredients we bought to make these meals over on my YouTube channel.

30th March 2016 at 8:42 AMI really like how it's not all home cooked meals for you every day. I think being able to get out and enjoy yourself keeps the balance nice. Although there's not one meal on there that I wouldn't scoff up! lol. x

30th March 2016 at 2:13 PMMeal planning is something i'm really trying to get into because we waste so much food in our house, so i'll be sure to check out your vlogs and future posts for ideas. Love the fact you allow yourselves a treat and don't just restrict yourself to home-cooked food. I'd have to do similar i reckon – can't see me giving up the weekly chinese any time soon lol xxx

30th March 2016 at 2:47 PMWe used to have one every Saturday! And still do sometimes. We have to treat ourselves at the weekend xx

30th March 2016 at 2:30 PMMeal planning is something I really should start doing. My husband works odd hours so I have to choose stuff that microwaves well. I am totally in love with my slow cooker for this reason because I can just set it to "keep warm" once it's done.

30th March 2016 at 2:45 PMThat's a great idea. I wish I used my slow cooker more but I always forget to start cooking and don't normally start thinking about dinner till 4.30pm xx

30th March 2016 at 8:12 PMI am determined to get better at meal planning as I have a tendency to buy too many random things that don't actually make a meal.

30th March 2016 at 10:14 PMI am a bit hit and miss with the meal planning, but I have about a dozen favourites, so I tend to rotate them with the odd meal out or treat thrown in. I need to get back into the habit of actually planning our weeks though!
