Nick’s birthday and the bank holiday weekend totally messed us up this week. We are trying to get back on track but in this awful weather all I want to do is curl up on the sofa with a cup of tea and an easter egg. We have more comfort food this week to ease us back in to healthy eating.
Our meal plan for this week is:::
Monday – Out for Dinner
Tuesday – Sausage and Mash
Wednesday – Nick’s Mum’s
Thursday – Nando’s Chicken Wraps
Friday – Spaghetti Bolognaise
Saturday – Fajitas
Sunday – Roast
You can take a look at our weekly food shop and all the ingredients we bought to make these meals over on my YouTube channel.

I really like how it's not all home cooked meals for you every day. I think being able to get out and enjoy yourself keeps the balance nice. Although there's not one meal on there that I wouldn't scoff up! lol. x
Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 9:45 AM
Definitely. Everything in moderation I say! It's easier to be good if you know you have treats to look forward too xx

Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 11:29 AM
I didn't meal plan over the weekend and it did my head in. Looking forward to getting back on it this week xx

I did my big shop yesterday too and have my meals all planned out for the week. I don't often so this, but I love how much better I feel having it all organised now 🙂
Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 12:15 PM
I love it. I find dinner time runs much more smoothly when I do meal plan xx
Lilinha30th March 2016 at 1:35 PM
I could definitely do with a meal plan, especially now during the school holidays. I shall use your meal plan as inspiration! 🙂
Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 2:02 PM
I hope it helps hunny. I find it's one less thing to worry about x

Meal planning is something i'm really trying to get into because we waste so much food in our house, so i'll be sure to check out your vlogs and future posts for ideas. Love the fact you allow yourselves a treat and don't just restrict yourself to home-cooked food. I'd have to do similar i reckon – can't see me giving up the weekly chinese any time soon lol xxx
Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 2:47 PM
We used to have one every Saturday! And still do sometimes. We have to treat ourselves at the weekend xx

Meal planning is something I really should start doing. My husband works odd hours so I have to choose stuff that microwaves well. I am totally in love with my slow cooker for this reason because I can just set it to "keep warm" once it's done.
Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 2:45 PM
That's a great idea. I wish I used my slow cooker more but I always forget to start cooking and don't normally start thinking about dinner till 4.30pm xx

Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 4:23 PM
Rosalie loves spaghetti. Enjoy lovely xx

Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 7:59 PM
I find life so much easier and less stressful when I meal plan! Thanks hunny x
Bex @ The Mummy Adventure30th March 2016 at 8:12 PM
I am determined to get better at meal planning as I have a tendency to buy too many random things that don't actually make a meal.
Sarah Cantwell30th March 2016 at 8:33 PM
Lol, I hate that! When you stare at the fridge and are like 'What can I DO with this?!' X
Jodie Fisher30th March 2016 at 9:07 PM
Another fantastic meal plan. I'm yet to create my own though. Ooops.
Sarah Cantwell31st March 2016 at 5:47 AM
No worries but when you do it will change your life! 🙂
Sara Murray30th March 2016 at 10:14 PM
I am a bit hit and miss with the meal planning, but I have about a dozen favourites, so I tend to rotate them with the odd meal out or treat thrown in. I need to get back into the habit of actually planning our weeks though!
Sarah Cantwell31st March 2016 at 5:48 AM
That's what we do really. I just like to have it written down so I know what to get out of the freezer. I still forget though! X
kerry norris30th March 2016 at 10:52 PM
I say these everytime I read your grocery hauls, but I really need to start planning our weeks meals lol. This week sounds right up out street. Sausage and mash and spag Bhol are family winning meals in our house x
Sarah Cantwell31st March 2016 at 5:49 AM

Blogger Mummy Lauren3rd April 2016 at 3:29 PM
Tasty list of meals, it's making me hungry! I always write up a meal plan but end up just winging it all week, really need to start sticking to it!
Sarah Cantwell3rd April 2016 at 8:02 PM
Ha ha! I do sometimes change up the days but I'm quite good. If it's on the board I tend to stick to it! Xx
