How to care for a sick toddler

Rosalie is sick.

Rosalie has NEVER been ill before. It’s times like this I wish I hadn’t stopped breastfeeding.
She as 4 teeth cutting through. 4!! My poor little baba’s tooth count has doubled overnight. Dribble is literally pouring from her mouth. She had two changes of clothes yesterday as she was soaked right through. I went up in the loft and got out her bibbies that I had prematurely packed away.
She has a runny nose and a really bad cough. It breaks my little heart to hear her coughing and then wimpering afterwards. I am trying to do all I can to make her feel better.
Here’s what I’m doing…
– Stocking up on medicine, I have Calpol (not natural, granted, but needed) Many teething granules, Aston and Parsons, Nelsons and Boots. Vix Vapour rub. Olbas Oil.

– I have made her homemade honey and lemon that I’m giving her in her beaker. I’m trying to get her to drink as much as I can. I’m also going to try and give her some young coconut water as its a superfood filled with minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, amino acids and enzymes to help her get well again.

– Today I am going to make her Chicken Bone Broth so that tomorrow I can make her chicken noodle soup.
You’ll be well soon baby, I promise.
