Feeding an Athlete – Trying new things

We are all guilty of cooking the same things week in, week out. For ease, because we like them or just because we lack inspiration. I fall into the latter category which is why I love watching grocery haul and meal plan videos because they give me lots of ideas.
This week we are going to mix it up a little.
On Wednesday, we are going to give the sausage and kale casserole that Kerry talks about in this vlog a try. Kerry has had it a few times now and every time she mentions it I think it sounds really nice so this week we are going to give it a go.
I’m going to pinch another one of Kerry’s ideas. The brownie bites she mentions in the same vlog sound too good to be true. You can find the recipe here. Anything that tastes like brownies but is made out of fruit and nut seems like a winner.
Lastly, I’m going to try Charlotte’s no knead bread recipe. Her instagram pictures of her finished loaf look amazing.  I’m hoping that if I can master it it will become part of our weekend routine. I love the idea of waking up to a freshly baked load on a Saturday morning. It also might help us reign in our bagel obsession.
