New Prints

My style has changed of late. I have always loved clean white walls but as I have got older I am starting to crave a clutter free, minimalist look in my home. What is it that they say? A tidy home breeds a tidy mind. I definitely feel like that is true and I love the feeling I get after a big house clean.

 

Ideally I would like everything in our house to have a home. Perhaps it’s because since having children I no longer have this and nearly every corner of my home is littered with some kind of toddler paraphernalia. I am trying though. We plan to add a built in cupboard to our living room so that at the end of the day we can hide away all of the toys instead of having them on display. I know it’s only going to get worse when we have 2 children!

 

 

I love the Scandinavian style and the peaceful aesthetic that look creates. We recently had the opportunity to work with Desenio. I have been lusting after their prints on instagram for a while and I was super excited to work with them. Desenio are a Swedish brand that sell their gorgeous prints and posters online. In the end, I settled on 3 prints for my living room and 2 for my kitchen all in the 50x70cm size. These are large statement posters and I think they look fabulous grouped together as a collection or pair. I also purchased some frames from Desenio too as they are really reasonably priced. Delivery was super quick and my parcel arrived a few days after placing my order. Both the prints and frames were carefully packaged which meant they arrived in perfect condition and I could display them straight away.
