Today I am joined again by my lovely mama. I have managed to talk her into filming some more videos with me.
This time we are going to be talking about Weaning, another hot topic. There is so much information out there on baby led weaning, puree feeding, milk reduction. It can sometimes be quite difficult to know what to do for the best.
There is also quite a lot of pressure to have fully weaned your baby by a certain amount of time.
I thought it might be useful to hear what both mum and I did when weaning our babies. Obviously my mum weaned me nearly 30 years ago (I know, I know!) so there is a big difference. Her memory is also a little hazy, he he. I find it so interesting to hear how times have changed and how what may have been recommended back then is frowned upon now.
As always our general consensus is to f*** the rest and do what works for you. This motherhood game is hard work!
You can take a look at our #MUMTALK Weaning video over on my Youtube Channel here.

29th June 2016 at 7:30 PMIt is funny to know what people were told and now what we get told. I did spoon fed with my son but baby-led with my daughter. They're all different! x

30th June 2016 at 8:01 PMI did baby lead weaning softly with my son, then much more with my twins and I loved it! But each parent must do what feels right to them.

1st July 2016 at 11:00 AMAh I love your #mumtalk videos 🙂 and I completely agree, do what works for you and your baby. Info on weaning changed so much from my first baby to my third, so I just stuck to what worked for me and what each baby seemed to respond best to. Lovely video hun xx
