Grocery Haul and Meal Plan – 14th March 2016

I am really not in the mood to eat healthy this week. This weekend I have already eaten so much chocolate, and it’s not even Easter yet.

This week’s meal plan is a complete carb overload. Oops!

On Monday we will be having homemade Nandos. A dish I love but we haven’t had for ages! I just hope Rosalie likes it as it’s a new one for her.
Followed by chilli con carne, the ultimate comfort food! Aaaaand then pasta, pasta, pasta…Oh well, this is what happens when the husband is away! Mama EATS.

Our meal plan for this week is:::

Monday – Nandos chicken pittas

Tuesday – Chilli
Wednesday – Lasagna
Thursday – Dinner out
Friday – Chicken pasta
Saturday – Dinner out
Sunday – Roast

    Sounds like some tasty meals! I love nachos and chilli but lasagne is my faaaaaave although we never have it often as always trying to be healthy! Next treat day, I think I need to make one 😉 xo

      Lasagna isn't actually that bad for you. Nick's mum makes an amazing lasagna with liver and kidneys in. Sounds horrible but tastes amazing!! I think it's a delia recipe. You get so many nutrients by using those cuts. It's the pile of chips I have with it that's bad! :-s

    Lucky you- eating out twice in one week and on week nights! I'm the opposite in that I eat better when J is away, apart from a bit of comfort chocolate!! x

    It's so hard to stay motivated to eat healthy isn't it. Although I have to say all those meals sounds lovely. I love lasagne. It's one of my favourite meals x

      Me too! I have to have it with chips as well! Sometimes I find it quite easy but I am really struggling atm and I just want to eat all the chocolate xx

    Oohh Nandos Chicken pitta sounds so scrummy. We had fish and chips tonight… yeah, I'm not very good at staying healthy at the moment! H x

    When I wasn't well recently I stopped eating healthy and haven't managed to get back to it yet.

    It is hard to get back into eating more healthily when you haven't for a few days isn't it. I really need to get back into meal planning

      Thank you honey. Sometimes I am not! I do find it so much easier to do the online shop once I have done a meal plan xx
