This weekend was a family weekend. On Saturday Uncle Jamie and Auntie Laura came round for breakfast and then we went to Nick’s Mum’s house in the afternoon.
On Sunday we had a day at home, just the three of us. We played with Rosalie, went for a nice long walk and I cooked a Roast dinner for us when we got in from the cold.
On Thursday, Rosalie and I went to visit my friend Naomi and my godson Kian. It was nice to see her and have a catch up as it had been a while.
On Friday, Rosalie and I had a lazy day around the house. I did some cleaning and managed to get a load of washing done and put away. This makes me happy.

This week I started to introduce portions of solid food that Rosalie could pick up and eat herself. Rosalie will be six months old next week and so will be able to pretty much eat anything then. In preparation for this I thought I would start giving her some cooked vegetables to munch on. I started off with cooked carrot batons left over from our Roast Dinner on sunday as I thought that they would be nice and easy of Rosalie to suck on. So far so good. She is really enjoying being able to feed herself. She is so proud of herself when she manages to eat something. Its super cute!
