House Renovation – Utility Room – Part 1

I have just realised I have rather neglected the utility and
haven’t posted about it at all. I was searching through old posts to see if I’d
taken any photos of the utility but this photo was the only one I could find.
This was when we were cutting the doorway through to the garage. A lot has
happened since then.

A wall has been built, the walls in the room have all been
boarded and plastered, the walls and ceiling have been painted (A slight
variation… both walls and ceiling have been painted in Dulux brilliant white),
the floor has been tiled…

And now nick has built most of the utility units and they
are ready to be fixed to the wall. His dad is coming round to help Nick fix
them to the wall this evening so that this week Simon the carpenter can fit the worktops in
there. It’s all go at the moment.
