On Friday last week we had Waz the plumber and our very kind
carpenter friend, Simon, round to lay the floor in our bedroom.

The Ensuite is now very nearly there, Waz has plumbed the
bath in and just needs to finish off the sink and shower. We were able to have
our first baths in our new bath over the weekend. I believe Waz is coming back
this evening to finish off the shower and sink. We will then just need to do the
final tidy, fit the blind and add all the finishing touches. We also need to
put up the towel rail but that was only delivered today.

Simon the carpenter, did an amazing job on the floor and
managed to finish all the bedroom and the walk in wardrobe in an afternoon! He
is coming back tonight to put the skirting round. Jamie, Nick’s
brother, also came round last friday evening to fit the lights in the bedroom and
ensuite. It’s looking good!

We didn’t get much else done over the weekend as Nick was
working and taking part in Tough Mudder. Nick started building the wardrobes last
night. It’s all taking shape. Hopefully we can start moving back in at the end
of the week.

I still cant decide what lights/lamp shades to put up in the walk in wardrobe. Any ideas? I want something that ties in with the lights in the bedroom but they cant be too big. Cost is also a big consideration. Would love to hear what you would do. Leave me a comment below. Your advice is greatly appreciated!
