Today I am going to talk to you about our day in Nice. This was our 3rd day in port. You can take a look at what we did in Gibraltar and Barcelona as well.
We didn’t plan to do anything specific in Nice and instead choose to walk around the town, soaking up the sun. What a beautiful place it is to walk around.
After disembarking our tender we leisurely made our way into the town where we stumbled upon a market. There were lots of gorgeous fruits on sale, local artists selling their wares and stalls and stalls of the prettiest flowers. I snapped away as Rosalie enjoyed some juicy strawberries.
We came upon a Fountain du Soliel, which was perfect for some pretty intagramming.
We then headed to the high street for some shopping. There were all you usual shops such as Zara, h and m, as well as Sephora, yey!
We stopped off in a little french café for some yummy crepes before heading over to Promenade du Paillon so the girls could have a play.
They loved splashing in the fountains and running around in the shallow water. Next to the fountains is a beautiful wooden playground perfect for children of all ages. We didn’t actually get a chance to play on this as it was time to head back to our ship but it looked fantastic, I’d definitely recommend the park if you are visiting nice with little ones.
Here are some photos I took of the city…
If you’d like to see more of our time in Nice, you can take a look at our Cruise Holiday Vlog over on my youtube channel.
