Trying to Conceive

The time has come for us to start trying to conceive again. In the past 6 months we have had two pregnancies and two miscarriages. I am a little wary about trying to get pregnant again but most of all I am excited. The joy you experience when the word ‘pregnant’ flashes up on the little blue stick. I have to use digital tests, you know to be sure, even though deep down with each pregnancy I have known I am pregnant before I test.

I have not been on a pill contraception since June last year but we have been using other preventative measures since January. I am not going to go into too much detail here. Y’all know what you got to do to make a baby and we will be doing it every night. Yes, EVERY NIGHT!! It’s a commitment I tell you.
I have been very lucky to fall pregnant on the first month of trying with all my pregnancies. It’s strange to think I have had 3 pregnancies all ready. I have no problem getting pregnant just keeping the babies. This method has served us well so we will be doing it again. I find it a lot less stressful. You don’t need to chart your menstrual cycle or stock up on ovulation tests (I imagine those are expensive!) You can just enjoy the fun stuff.

The difficult thing is trying to fit it in everyday without it becoming a chore. Keeping it fun and enjoyable can be tough, but that is what we will do. After all, If anything over the past few months we have had lots of practise!I filmed a video about us trying to conceive over on my Youtube channel. I talk through all the supplements I am taking to ensure I am in tip top condition for pregnancy.

When we were trying for our first, it took over a year (subsequent pregnancy's were really quick) and we were advised to only do it every other day so the sperm is more potent- it worked within a month of that advice! Have fun 😉 xx

Ahh I wish you the best of luck lovely! I haven't experienced problems conceiving so I can only imagine how upsetting it must be for those who do. Hopefully your wait won't be long. H x

Really sorry to hear of your losses hun, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it happens for you next time. I don't know how you do it every night?! But I totally understand your thinking. Plotting and charting can have a negative effect on conceiving x
