How far along? 9 weeks pregnant today.
Due date? Technically my due date is 10th Junehowever I tend to ovulate quite late and so I expect I am more likely to be due on 25th June. 2 weeks later. This would tie in with my positive pregnancy test and Rosalie’s due date which was 24th of the month.
How is baby doing? I am doing these pregnancy updates in line with my LMP even though I don’t think I am actually that far gone. This makes the baby the size of a Grape. It weighs 0.07 ounces and is 0.90 inches long. This week my baby has gone from being an embryo to a foetus. Exciting stuff! The baby’s organs are all beginning to function. The baby has fully developed eyes but they are still being kept tightly shut for now and they will remain closed for a few more weeks.
I still can’t believe the baby is doing all those things when it’s still so small.
Maternity clothes: No Maternity clothes have been purchased yet but I am living in leggings. I purchased a cosy new pair of pyjamas which is practically maternity wear.
Stretch marks: No stretch marks. I have started to apply body butter every time I get out of the bath.
Sleep: I am still having trouble sleeping, which is very annoying! I am not even big yet, it’s going to be so much worse when I have a big uncomfortable belly. I feel like I should be making the most of this time when I can actually get comfortable and I am frustrated that I cant sleep.
Best moment this week: We got our scan date through. Our 12 week Scan is booked for the 27th of November. I cant wait.

Movement: I felt a few sort of bubbling sensations this week. I can tell things are changing down there.
Gender: Unknown
Labour signs: Nope.
Symptoms: I haven’t felt sick this week so although not a good sign really is making a more pleasant pregnancy. Pregnancy Acne has seems to be getting a little better. Although still finding new spots every few days. I feel like this week my bump has grown and it is starting to stick out.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I have been pretty good on the Nausea front. I wasn’t THAT bad with Rosalie but this time round it seems to be even better. Unless I’m just too busy to notice.

How I feel? I feel good. I am looking forward to our dating scan which is only a few weeks away. I have my midwifes appointment next week so it’s all becoming more real. In 31 weeks we shall have a baby!!
Looking forward to: Our dating scan. Roll on the end of the month. Three weeks and counting!Update – I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks and 3 days based on the doctor’s original calculations, you can read about it here. Doctors advised my hormone levels at the time of miscarriage suggested I was only 6/7 weeks pregnant.
