I am a stickler when it comes to Mascara. I have used Max factor False Lash effect religiously since I was about 16. I have quite long eyelashes naturally and this has always given me great results.
I have tried others over the years but I still kept coming back to false lash effect, stocking up when boots had a 3 for 2 offer on so there was always plenty in the drawer. It’s reasonably priced and no other mascara was impressive enough to tempt me away.
Until now…
When flying home from our holiday this year I decided to purchase a new mascara. Since becoming a mother, and aging! I wear less and less eye make up. Mascara is the only thing I wear every day. I thought it was about time I treated myself to a high end one.
I chose the Benefit They’re Real Mascara. I know, I know, I’m late to the party. I had heard it was good, lots of people rave about it. Until I tried it I couldn’t believe how good it was! My lashes look full and so much longer with this mascara. The wand coats all the tiny little eyelashes without printing mascara everywhere. It’s so quick and easy to apply.
The first time I wore this my mum actually asked if I was wearing false lashes. That speaks for itself!
Being a glasses wearer I need something that will really define my eyes. This has made such a difference, It opens up my eyes and makes me look more awake. I also think that as it makes my lower lashes look longer and thicker it helps disguise my fine lines, I need all the help I can get there!
I have loved using this mascara and it has reduced my getting ready time considerably. I think it’s worth the £19.50 price tag and I will definitely be repurchasing.
