Rosalie is 25 weeks old now, so about 5 and a half months old. We don’t really have an average day in our house as Nick works shifts so every day/week is different. I tried to record a pretty ‘normal’ day for us, one where we weren’t doing anything special anyway. You can view our day in the life at 5 months old vlog here.
Here’s how our day went:
5.00 | Rosalie woke up and I fed her before putting her back down in her cot for a few more hours.
8.30 | Rosalie woke up for the second time. I changed her bum and then we had cuddles in Mummy and Daddy’s big bed.
9.00 | I fed Rosalie for the second time, Rosalie then played on the bed with her toy whilst I got ready for the day.
10.00 | We went downstairs and Rosalie played on her play mat whilst I made myself some breakfast.
11.00 | I breastfed Rosalie again and then tried to put her down for a nap.
12pm | We had lunch. I had carrot and coriander soup and Rosalie had pear puree.
12.30 | I got Rosalie dressed for the day. Today, we had a mini photo shoot so mummy could try out her new camera.
1.00 | I tried to squeeze in some blogging.
1.30 | I breastfed Rosalie on the sofa and we watched some tv.
2.00 | Daddy came home from work. Rosalie had some playtime with daddy.
3.00 | I breastfed Rosalie as she had a bit of a meltdown and got all upset. She then fell asleep on me.
4.30 | Daddy watched Rosalie whilst I did the hoovering upstairs.
5.00| We chilled out on the sofa and watched a little tele.
5.30 | I breastfed Rosalie before giving her ‘real’ food.
6.00 | I fed Rosalie her dinner. It was sweet potato and kale puree. I like to eat together as a rule but Rosie ate on her own today as Nick was out training at dinner time.
6.30 | Rosalie had a bath and I got her ready for bed.
7.00| I breast fed Rosalie on our bed until she fell asleep. I then put her down in her cot.
7.30 | I did a little bit of blogging until Nick came home from the gym.
8.00 | I made fajitas for dinner for Nick and I.
9.00 | We watched Silent Witness on tv.
10.30 | We went to bed.
So there you have it. This is what we got up to. Its not super exciting as we just stayed in but I like to have a few days around the house so I can keep up with my chores like a good housewife 🙂
