Nursery Craft – Making Wall Art

My Mother likes Wallpaper.

When deciding what wallpaper to cover a feature wall in her
guest bedroom she bought copious rolls of wallpaper. She now has a lot left
over! One roll which she didn’t use I fell in love with so I stole it. I toyed with the idea
of using it in the nursery as a feature wall but I think it would be too fussy
so I started to think of other ways I could use it in the nursery. I have
already lined the baby’s chest of drawers with it.

I decided to try and make a print for the wall.

This was very easy to do.

I literally cut out the rose design with enough of a
border around to go up to the mount in the frame on all sides.

Cutting out the wallpaper

I turned the frame
over to check the rose was in the middle. When I was happy with the positioning
I stuck the wall paper to the back of the mount with Sellotape so it didn’t
move and then fitted the back of the frame.

Ta da!

Finished print

I now just have to find a suitable place to hang it…
