Honeymooning in Thailand

Honeymooning in Thailand - Roseyhome - travel, honeymoon, asia, thailand, bali, holiday, vacation

As the nights draw in and November starts to roll around I start to reminisce about this time 4 years ago when we were honeymooning in Thailand. We were married in October. There aren’t too many places you can go that are hot at that time of year. We’d already been to Mexico a few years prior and so after much deliberation we settled on a trip of a lifetime to Thailand and Bali. It was wonderful. Our trip was 4 years ago now but I remember it so clearly. It was amazing. We traveled around but every place we visited was picture perfect. Today I am going to share with you a few of my favourite photographs from our trip.

Taking care of Elephants in Chang Mai

My sister in law paid for us to be elephant keepers for a day at the Patara Elephant Farm. It was the most magical experience and we left with lots of gorgeous photographs to remember our special day. Two of which are now on our living room wall at home. I love this photo. We look so happy!

Phi Phi

Phi Phi is just the most beautifully picturesque island. It is just what you imagine paradise to be like. These photographs were taken at the Outrigger hotel resort were we were staying. Our day’s here were spent drinking cocktails and relaxing on the beach.

Partying in Koh Samui

Whilst in Koh Samui we visited Nikki Beach club. It was so much fun. We drank, danced, and swam all day long.

Canyoning in Bali

We did some amazing adventure activities whilst on our trip which you just aren’t able to do in this country. In Bali we went canyoning down waterfalls. This involves, sliding, jumping and abseiling down waterfalls and rapids. The largest waterfall being over 25ft! This photograph was taken by the big waterfall we’d just climbed down.

Thailand has so much to offer. We travelled around the country for 2 short weeks but you could spend months exploring. We barely scratched the surface and I would love to go back to this beautiful place one day. If you are interested in visiting Thailand take a look here.

Have you been to Thailand? Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Looks like you had an amazing time. So many different experiences. I have been to Bangkok but nowhere else in Thailand. We went to Las Vegas and Hawaii on our honeymoon

I’ve been to thailand a few times, I was lucky to live in singapore when I was younger so it wasn’t that far. But my OH and kids have never been so we’re heading there just after xmas. I can’t wait!
