Cosatto Supa Dupa Twin Pushchair Review*

Cosatto Supa Dupa Twin Pushchair Review - Roseyhome - parenting, pushchair, review, stroller, double pushchair, twin pushchair, cosatto

When I was pregnant I would often think about what life would be like with 2 children. One thing that concerned me was how I would shop. Shopping is my favourite hobby. Rosalie was 2 years and 9 months when our baby girl arrived. Up until then, if I went shopping I would always take a pushchair with me to strap Rosalie in to. Rosalie could walk but I found the whole experience much more enjoyable knowing where she was at all times. Rosalie didn’t mind being in the pushchair, it’s what we had always done and it worked. I wanted to continue this stress free shopping experience so I started to look at double pushchairs.

There was one pushchair that kept catching my eye, the Cosatto stroller. Cosatto are a brand that design colourful and fun baby items. I’m sure you have seen them around. I contacted Cosatto to ask if we could review the Supa Dupa twin pushchair and they kindly obliged.
We have been using the Cosatto Supa Dupa twin pushchair for 12 weeks now and so I wanted to share with you our thoughts on it.

WHAT IS THE SUPA DUPA TWIN PUSHCHAIR?

The Supa Dupa Twin Pushchair from Cosatto is an award winning from-birth lightweight double stroller. It is a double stroller with all the design features of a single stroller, but it has a few extra benefits thrown in! One of these being the extended UPF50+ hoods with built in speaker & gadget display pockets for rainy days. Cosatto have thought of everything!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The first thing you will notice about any Cosatto product when it arrives, is the fabulous box it comes in. It’s so cool! Rosalie was so excited when it arrived and declared it ‘The best parcel EVER!’ She couldn’t wait to open it up.

Once out of the box I was impressed with how easy it was to assemble. So much so that I even managed it by myself! The chassis is all set up ready to go so all you have to do is attach the wheels, hood and any seat padding that you want to use such as the foot muff, chest pads and head huggers.

The twin pushchair is a good size. Large enough so that my two children of different ages can sit comfortably but compact enough to fit through any shop doorway.

I love the design of the pushchair. The star pattern is fun and cheery whilst not being too in your face. Rosalie loved her ‘pink pushchair’ and couldn’t wait to get in.

WHAT I THINK

I am using the Cosatto Supa Dupa Twin Pushchair with my two children of different ages. Rosalie turns 3 at the end of August, and Baby Maeve is 3 months old. They both require different things from a pushchair but the Supa Dupa Twin pushchair delivers on both fronts.

Rosalie is quite big for her age but the seat is large enough that Rosalie can sit comfortably without it looking too small for her. We tried out a number of double pushchairs and found that Rosalie was too big for many on the market. She looked ridiculous in some but this isn’t the case in the Supa.

The Supa Dupa Twin Pushchair is suitable from birth. The pushchair reclines completely flat so that with the use of the head huggers and chest pads we’ve been able to use the pushchair since Maeve was a teeny, tiny newborn. I was a little dubious about putting my baby into an umbrella style pushchair but with the use of the foot muff and padded accessories Maeve is kept safe and secure and looks very cosy.

The pushchair is easy to use and can be folded out ready for use in seconds. You simple unclip the auto locks on either side of the pushchair, and press down on the foot pads until the pushchair clicks into position.

The Supa Dupa Pushchair has two storage baskets underneath each seat. One thing I would say is that these baskets’s are not the biggest. One improvement that would make this pushchair even better, would be if this was one large basket across the whole bottom of the pushchair. It would make storing larger things so much easier. It hasn’t stopped me taking the pushchair shopping as I tend to use the middle handle to hang any shopping bags from.

The sun hoods offer UPF50+ protection, as well as being large enough to protect Rosalie and Maeve from light showers. The pushchair comes with an additional rain cover but if I am honest I have not needed to use it yet as if we are caught out in the rain the hoods offer enough protection. The sun hoods also include a digital pocket that you can put an iPad or mobile device into, as well as speakers, to help keep your child entertained when the weather turns sour. I can vouch that this is a great tool for persuading an older child into the pushchair.

Half the battle of getting a 3 year old to sit in a pushchair is having somewhere that they actually want to sit in. Rosalie loves her ‘pinky pushchair’ as she calls it.  The foot muffs are reversible so you can switch up the design so they’ll never get bored. She likes the cool pattern and the bright colours. Not to mention being able to sit next to her baby sister.

The pushchair folds up neatly and has a handy free standing feature that means it can be stored easily and takes up minimal space. This feature also means that the seats and hood won’t get dirty from being laid on the floor. We have been using the Supa Dupa twin pushchair for 3 months now and it still looks brand new. If the seat units do get soiled they are fully removable so that they can be put in the wash.

WOULD I RECOMMEND?

Yes I would recommend the Cosatto Supa Dupa twin pushchair. It has made those days when I am on my own with both children so much happier. It means we can all get out and about and Mama can relax knowing that both babies are safe and secure. It is one of the best baby products we have used and something that has made life as a mum of two so much easier. It is good value for money and a much cheaper alternative to buying a double travel system.

The Cosatto Supa Dupa Twin Pushchair retails for £354.95 and you can find out more about it .

Do you or will you be using a double pushchair for your children?

Oh my, that design is STUNNING! We had one of the Cosatto Supa Single Pushchairs for Harry and i couldn’t fault it in the slightest. Cosatto is definitely the one to watch when it comes to pushchairs – their range is just so fun, bold and full of personality! xx

That is such a cool stroller. I was the same as you. My eldest was 2 1/2 at the time when Chloe was born and I wasn’t sure whether I should buy a double buggy or not. We did in the end. I love the newborn insert.
