Today I start my weight loss journey. I weighed myself today for the first time since before I was pregnant. I weigh 10 stone 11 1/2 pounds and if I am honest I thought I was going to weigh a lot more.
I feel a lot heavier than that. My clothes are tighter and I’ve gone up two jean sizes! ?
Post pregnancy with Rosalie, my first daughter, I ate very well. Nick was training hard and I think he was actually the fittest he has ever been. I was cooking meals that fitted with his nutritional plan, and eating the same. I was unintentionally losing weight, and still eating cake!
Fast forward to now and we are not doing so well. The meals I have been cooking are not bad. They are clean, healthy meals but it’s the evening trips to the shop to get snacks that are our downfall. I’m tired and all I want to do is drink coffee and eat chocolate.
Enough is enough. It’s not sustainable to continue like we have been. I seriously need to start losing these extra pounds. I’ve bought a gorgeous dress for my friends wedding. I bought a size 10 as they didn’t have a 12 and I couldn’t even do the zip up! My goal is to fit into this dress perfectly. I have two months, wish me luck!
I am going to be sharing my journey here on my blog and and over on my YouTube channel. This week’s Grocery Haul and Meal Plan is below.

2nd July 2017 at 11:12 AMI love a grocery haul! I find it fascinating to see what people buy and make for dinner. I can’t stand Kale, yuck! Kalettes are a lot more palatable. Rosalie is so cute, love her in the video!

3rd July 2017 at 11:02 PMYea, I’m not sure the kale salad is for me. I did try it though. It wasn’t as bad as you’d imagine but life is definitely too short to eat raw kale! ? Xx
