Newborn Baby Product Wishlist

Newborn Baby Product Wishlist - Roseyhome - Newborn, baby, wishlist, baby, baby products,

This is my Newborn Wishlist. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. In a few weeks, or days!(Eeek!) I will have a Newborn baby to look after. I didn’t really NEED anything this time around, as I kept everything from my first pregnancy. These are just a few things that I want to try.

Chicco Next to me Dream Crib

When I was a pregnant with Rosalie I was adamant I wanted a crib that looked pretty, we had a white swinging crib from Mothercare. As Rosalie was exclusively breastfed I soon realised it made my life a lot easier to have her crib right next to our bed. We had a small gap down the side of our double bed that luckily the swinging crib fit into.

This time, knowing how much easier night feeding is when baby is sleeping next to you I wanted to try a co-sleeping crib. I settled on this one from Chicco as it is one of the cheapest on the market. It definitely isn’t the prettiest baby bed in the world but it is going to be so practical. This Chicco Next to me Dream Crib is priced at £239.

Cloud Mobile

I LOVE this cloud mobile design by Mini Musing and hope to get one for Baby Girls Nursery. I plan to hang this inside her canopy.

Eleanor Mary Designs Milestone Cards

I really wanted to get some milestone cards as this was something I didn’t have with Rosalie. I love the simple design of these milestone cards and think they will be a perfect fit with Baby’s Nursery Decor. They are priced at £15 from Notonthehighstreet.

Moses Basket

I didn’t use a Moses Basket with Rosalie, but I wanted one this time so that I could put Baby Girl to sleep in it downstairs. Rosalie will be 2 years and 9 months when baby is born and as you can imagine is a rather rambunctious toddler.  I wanted somewhere up high and out of the way that baby could sleep in.

This was an item I deliberated over for a long time. I love the look of the African Basilla Baskets but they are quite expensive and in the end I couldn’t justify the price. I wanted a plain moses basket that wasn’t too frilly or covered in character prints. I found this Moses Basket in Aldi and at £19.99 for the basket and £10 for the stand I couldn’t resist.

iCandy Orange

After a lot of research I finally settled on the iCandy Orange. If I am honest I don’t really need a new travel system as I kept our Silver Cross that we used with Rosalie. This meant that any travel system I purchased had to be a little bit special for me to be able to justify it. The iCandy has some great features and this is what has swung it for me.

My favourite feature in the in built buggy board. I HATE the look of buggy boards that hang off the back of  prams. Although I understand how practical they are, they are so cumbersome! To know that Rosalie will just be able to hop on and off when needed without me having to do anything or attach anything is fabulous.

The only problem is I am having trouble getting hold of one. The iCandy Orange is only going to be available in selected stores. I went to my local mothercare but unfortunately they were not stocking it. iCandy have now produced a list of iCandy Orange stockists but they don’t say where these are located so I do not know which stores are closest to me. I am probably not going to be able to test one out and if I really want one I am going to have to buy it without seeing it. The iCandy Orange retails at £790.

Dusty Pink Cotton Canopy

This is something I would like for Rosalie’s Nursery. I plan to hang this above her cot bed in her bedroom. It’s from Numero 74 and retails at £95.

Ewan the Dream sheep

This is another item that I used every single night when Rosalie was a newborn. She even still sleeps with it now. Rosalie has always been a good sleeper and so I didn’t want to change what had worked for us previously so I knew that Ewan had to be purchased again. He is priced at £29.99.

Tiba and Marl Changing Bag

I fell in love with this changing bag on instagram and it is just as gorgeous as it looks in real life. The fact that it is a back pack is also very practical and means that I can have both hands free.

It has such a luxury feel to it and loads of cool little features like a removable clutch and an insulated bottle holder.

Miracle Blanket Swaddle

This item does exactly what it says. It really is a Miracle Blanket and it’s something that I used every, single night with Rosalie. It reminds me of a baby straight jacket, which admittedly sounds terrible!

It’s basically a blanket with little flaps to tuck baby’s arms into, and then wrap it round a few times to finish. I found this brilliant for when I was getting Rosalie in and out of her crib during the night. Even if the blanket unravelled a whole turn, Rosalie was still nice and tucked up inside. It meant I didn’t have to keep re-swaddling her after every feed.

Cosatto Supa Dupa Pushchair

I was on the hunt for an Umbrella Stroller to take out and about with us when we are short of space. With two car seats and a dog there is not going to be much room in our car.

I really like the design of this pushchair. As soon as I saw it I knew Rosalie would absolutely love it. I am hoping it will be somewhere that she will want to sit in.

I also really like the fact that it comes with the newborn nest and footmuff so that it can be used from birth if needed. It has an independent recline option which will be perfect for my girls of such different ages. The Cosatto Supa Dupa Pushchair retails at £344.95

Some lovely items on your wishlist. Loved moses baskets for my twins while our three year old played around them, even if they don’t last long in them!

Milestone cards hadn’t been invented when I had my 3 girls – I’m always a little sad when I see them. Best of luck for the next 2 weeks – You definitely deserve a shopping trip!

When our second baby arrived all we bought was a double buggy and milestone cards. And clothes of course because the second was a girl.
