Flying with a two year old can put the fear of god into even the most seasoned flyer. That coupled with the fact that I have been ill the last two times I have travelled by plane, and that I will be 33 weeks pregnant when we fly, I am a little anxious!
I’m not scared of flying and I actually quite like the whole airport experience. For me the holiday starts as soon as I have left the house, I like to have a nice breakfast and do a little duty free shopping.
We will be travelling to Fuerteventura which has a 4 hour flight time. Rosalie who is now 2 and ½ has NEVER had to sit still for that length of time. The last time we flew Rosalie was still breast feed and I fed her to sleep. I guess I am just worried about the unknown. She will thankfully have her own seat as with a 33 week pregnancy bump there is not much room on mama’s lap.
To help keep Rosalie occupied and to help the flight go as stress free as possible I have put together a flight bag for Rosalie. It’s full of sweets, treats and activities that will hopefully keep her entertained and happy for our plane journey.
Here is what I am taking in Rosalie’s flight bag…
1 x Colouring book
1 x Sticker book
1 x Toilet roll tube
4 x Lollipop
3 x Fruit pieces
1 x Shopkins twist up colouring crayons
1 x Ipad
1 x Head phones
1 x Lego figure set
1 x Play dough
1 x Itchy sketch
1 x Pez
4 x Pez sweets
1 x Doll
1 x Plate, knife and fork
1 x Change of clothes
4 x Books
1 x Tissues
1 x Kinder Egg
1 x Apple
2 x Bags of sweets
2 x Packs of biscuits
1 x Packet of crisps
1 x Blanket
1 x Pillow
