How far along? 18 weeks and 1 day
Due date? 7th May 2017
How is baby doing? Baby weighs 190 grams and is 5.59 inches long. Baby is the size of a pomegranate now and her weight will increase about six-fold over the next month. Baby is breathing with amniotic fluid and its chest is moving in rhythm as it breathing air. Baby’s hearing has now developed so that it can hear the sounds coming from outside the womb much clearer. Your baby’s immune system is preparing for life outside the womb. Myelin (a protective coating of the nerves) is now being produced. Baby’s umbilical cord is growing and continues to support baby’s growing needs.
Maternity clothes: I seem to be living in jumper dresses and tights at the moment. I haven’t bought any other maternity items as most of my normal clothes still fit.
Stretch marks: No stretch marks yet. I’m still applying the body butter.
Sleep: Oh my goodness, I had the worst night’s sleep ever last night! I feel like I probably slept for about two hours.
Best moment this week: Christmas Parties! I have 2 this week.
Miss anything? No
Movement: Yes, baby is moving all over the place these days and it is lovely. You can’t see her moving from outside yet and I am excited for when that happens as then Nick will be able to feel her.
Gender: It’s a girl!
Labour signs: No
Symptoms: Boobs are rather large. Bump is getting bigger. I’m starting to feel tired but I think that is because of all the extra work I have been doing due to vlogmas. I am getting really achey but that might be due to all the dancing I was doing at a wedding reception on Saturday night. I am definitely starting to waddle!
Anything making you queasy or sick? I havn’t been sick this week, yey! I think whatever I had last week must have been a virus.
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
How I feel? Tired mostly. I slept terribly last night and I have such a busy week. I will be glad when this week is out of the way as I feel I will be able to relax then.
Looking forward to: Next week!
