Little Life Cross Country Premiere Child Carrier Review

For the past few months we have been testing out the Little Life Cross Country Premium Child Carrier. We actually approached little life ourselves as we were so eager to review the Carrier. We knew that it would be invaluable during our recent cruise holiday.

Appearance
I love the design of this carrier!
I chose the all grey design as I think the neutral colour looks the most stylish. It has a lovely gruffalo facepad that Rosalie was very excited about. She loves pointing out all the animals. The carrier is also available in red and grey.
The straps are very comfortable for both adult and child. They are easy to get on and off yet secure when fastened.

Storage
There is a large storage pocket underneath the toddler seat. You will be surprised at how much stuff you can fit in there. I managed to fit the entire contents of Rosalie’s toddler bag in there for our day trips on the cruise. Snacks included!

Ease of use
I’ve found the carrier very easy to use, it’s light weight and very comfortable to wear.
There is an anchor point at the base of the carrier which you can put your foot in to help steady the carrier when you are putting your child in and out. It was easy to put Rosalie in and the x buckle harness ensured she remained nice and secure.
There are toy loops on either side of the carrier where you can attach your child’s favourite toy. This is a great feature but not something we used. Rosalie was far too busy looking at the world around her. The Gruffalo face pad is nice and soft and offers a place for your child to rest their head if they do fall asleep. This can also be removed for easy washing.
The ergonomically shaped seat is very comfortable. Rosalie fell asleep in the carrier a number of times which is a sure sign that she approves.
The sun shade slides in to the top of the carrier easily and helps to offer additional protection for your little one.
The fabric is strong and durable. We used the carrier a number of times on walks at home and on sightseeing day trips during our holiday. We put the carrier through with our luggage and despite all this it still looks brand new.
Rosalie is 22 months and this carrier was a perfect fit for her now. Little life say the carrier can be used up until 3 years of age. Rosalie is quite large for her age and it will be interesting to see if we can continue to use it until then. Rosalie weighs heavy and I don’t think I could carry her for long periods of time. Luckily my husband did all of the carrying. We used it for 12 hours plus one day whilst on our holiday and he was absolutely fine. He did say his legs hurt by the end of the day but we had walked a lot and he had done some heavy squats the day before.
Overall, we really do love the Little Life Cross Country Carrier. It was wonderful when we were sightseeing on holiday. During our visits to old cities such as Rome or Barcelona that have cobbled streets it was invaluable. Some of the areas we visited were not suitable a stroller. It meant we could take Rosalie everywhere with us.
Rosalie loved being up so high as she was able to see everything. It was particularly good when we visited the crowded areas such as the coliseum  as it meant Rosalie was out of the way and not intimidated by all the people. She was very happy in the carrier and we look forward to doing more adventuring with Rosalie in tow.
The Little Life Cross Country Premium Carrier is available to buy from Little Life for £149.99. This is one of the more expensive carriers on the market but I feel it is worth it as it is one of the biggest and offers the most room for growth. For more information on the Carrier check out the Little Life website.

Oh my gosh, this looks amazing and how cute is that Gruffalo design? I've always been a strong supporter of Little Life products and i love the fact this carrier is suitable for children up to 3 years old but i've never actually used one myself because i'm always put off by the bulkiness of them. xx

They are surprisingly light for their size. Before your toddler gets in anyway 🙂 xx

This looks great Blake hates being in a carrier though which is a shame as I would have loved to baby wear

I loved carrying my two but I only ever had a front sling. This looks fab for when they're bigger and you want to get out and about x

It is really great, especially if you have a heavy tot, it means you can carry for longer! Xx

Look really handy! I like the design, and although it looks heavy and sturdy I'm glad to hear it's light (but still safe!)
