Grocery Haul and Meal Plan – 11th April 2016

This week’s meal plan isn’t much healthier than last weeks, eek! To be fair all our meals are still pretty clean as we make them all from scratch and use fresh ingredients. Even our chips! We just chop up potatoes, sprinkle them with a olive oil and season with salt and pepper before baking them in the oven for 25 minutes.
I’m not feeling very creative in the kitchen so it’s back to our old family favourites. We have bought lots of fruit this week in hope that it will keep us on the wagon but it’s so hard when we have a house full of chocolate. I have taken to having a cup of tea around 8pm with a few mini easter eggs. Although delicious this is not very good for my waistline. I feel really sluggish so it just goes to show how much better I feel when we do eat right.
Our meal plan for this week is:::
Monday – Hunters Chicken
Tuesday – Sausage Pasta
Wednesday – Nick’s Mum’s
Thursday – Fajitas
Friday – Steak and chips
Saturday – Fish and Chips
Sunday – Roast
You can take a look at our weekly food shop and all the ingredients we bought to make these meals over on my YouTube channel.

Your are far too organised, although I expect you save a fair bit of money on your shopping.

Oh it's so easy Viki. I never have it when we go out as its so simple to make at home. I filmed a recipe on it for channel mum but it's basically baked chicken breast wrapped in bacon topped with a little bit of bbq sauce and cheese. Yummy! X

I must follow your meal plan. I never have an idea what to make. And I feel like giving the kids crap all the time. Yesterday it was sausage vegetable and potato waffles.

Honestly Janice, it will change your life! 10 minutes a week before you do the online shop. It'll save you money and mean you won't be stressing about dinner through the week. I hate it when I forget to plan now, my brain can't take it! Ha x
