It is Valentine’s day next week and so I decided to make the husband a valentines day gift basket of little treats. I also decided to make a valentines day gift basket for our daughter Rosalie too and her basket kind of outshines his. Sorry Daddy!
Lush Gift set
I planned to just buy Nick a bubble bar from lush and then I saw this wonderful gift box on the Lush website and I couldn’t resist. He uses most of my lush stuff so this present although for him is for me too! I can’t imagine he will get me anything so this is a little gift to myself as well. win win.
Book
Nick and I recently watched the new Kray film, Legend, with Tom Hardy. It’s brilliant by the way, you should watch it if you havn’t already! We both really enjoyed it and I thought Nick would also enjoy reading this book written by the Kray’s themselves. We also go away on holiday in a few months so he can always take it away with him if he hasn’t read it by then.
Healthy Chocolates
Nick is eating very well at the moment so instead of being naughty and buying him Chocolates. Rosalie and I decided to make him some healthy chocolates as part of his valentines day gift. You can find the healthy chocolate recipe here. I put the chocolates in an old Ferreo rocher box left over from christmas and tied on some pretty ribbon.
Card
Both Rosalie and I bought Nick a card to tell him how much we love him so I also included those. Rosalie hand painted a masterpiece on hers!
What have you bought for the man in your life?
