As I have said before I have a roll of wallpaper that my mum
gave me that I wanted to use in the Nursery. We don’t really have a theme for
the Nursery as such so I am hoping by
repeating the use of the rose design wall paper (and pink gingham) it will
create a more cohesive look.
I have an old lamp which used to be on my bedside table in
my old bedroom at home, over three years ago! I don’t think it has been used
since so I thought I would try and tie it in with the nursery theme. I googled
decoupage lampshades and read some step by step guides even though I had a
rough idea of what to do already, and then I was away…

I cut out lots of roses from the wallpaper that I needed to
stick all over the shade in a random pattern.

I glued them on with PVA glue in the desired position.

Finally I painted the whole lampshade and the rose decals in
PVA glue.
